Topic: Machine Learning: How Should the Art of Decision Making Intersect with Science?
Murli Buluswar, VP and Chief Science Officer at AIG Property/Casualty, will be speaking on integrating Behavioral Economics, Data Science and Big Data Platforms and giving some concrete examples of conducting evidence based decision making at AIG.
Murli heads the newly created Science Team. Murli is tasked with establishing a world class research and development function, focusing on data to support decisions.
Prior to joining AIG, Murli was Vice President of Enterprise Customer Experience at Farmers Insurance, responsible for defining and executing a complete customer experience vision with the goal of improving voice of the customer metrics and defined financial measures. His preceding role as Vice President of Insight and Innovation (I&I) at Farmers Insurance enabled him to establish the Internal Analytics Consulting Group to identify and drive new opportunities for the business.
