The rapid spread of COVID-19 has created a global health and economic crisis, and, Kaggle is asking for your help. The White House and leading research groups have prepared a COVID-19 Open Research DataSet, issuing a call to the artificial intelligence community to apply natural language processing techniques to find answers regarding this infectious disease. Tasks include identifying insight around transmission, risk factors, evolution, non-pharmaceutical intervention, therapeutics, diagnostics, medical care, and inter-sectoral collaboration. Kaggle is sponsoring a $1,000 per task award to the winner whose submission is identified as best meeting the evaluation criteria.
This Kaggle Challenge on COVID-19 was created by the Allen Institute for AI in partnership with the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, Georgetown University’s Center for Security and Emerging Technology, Microsoft Research, and the National Library of Medicine – National Institutes of Health, in coordination with The White House Office of Science and Technology Policy.
Please help Kaggle accelerate the COVID-19 research process with the power of artificial intelligence.
