Joint Major in Computer Science and Data Science

This joint major prepares students to work with data science systems – the automated systems that effectively predict outcomes and extract insights from large data sets. Students learn to build these systems and gain the knowledge to influence policies governing data science technologies.

This is an interdisciplinary major (18 courses/72 points) offered by the Department of Computer Science and the Center for Data Science.

Authoritative information about curricular requirements is found exclusively in the University Bulletin for CAS. All other content, including what is on this website, is for informational purposes only. Students can find the curricular requirements for this program on this page in the Bulletin.
