Bio: Hong Chul Nam is a PhD student at the Center for Data Science, advised by Prof. Zongyi Li. His research focuses on AI4Science, applying generative and energy-based models to chaotic dynamical systems. Before his PhD, he was a visiting researcher at Caltech and received his MSc and BSc in Electrical Engineering from ETH Zurich. Outside of research, he throws pottery of occasionally usable dimensions and travels on a graduate student‘s budget.
