Bio: Evangelos (Vaggelis) Dorovatas is a PhD student at the Center for Data Science, advised by Pratyusha Sharma. He received his Diploma (five-year degree with an Integrated Master’s) in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) in Greece. Prior to his PhD, he worked on neural network architectures at NTUA and the Archimedes Research Center, and was a full-time AI Research Engineer at Toyota, conducting research on continual learning and memory. His research focuses on representation learning and continual learning in humans and machines.
