Bio: Arda is a PhD student at NYU Center for Data Science, advised by Sumit Chopra and Daniel Sodickson. He obtained his B.S., summa cum laude in Electrical Engineering, at Bilkent University with a full scholarship and Academic Excellence Award. After finishing his B.S., he did a summer internship with Erdal Arikan. He spent one year at EPFL’s Laboratory for Information in Networked Systems, working with Michael Gastpar. Before joining NYU, he worked in the telecom industry for three years as a research engineer, and he recently finished his M.S. at Bilkent University, supervised by Orhan Arikan. Outside of research, he enjoys playing the guitar, free-diving, and wine tasting.
