Bio: Gelareh Naseri is a Post-Doctoral Associate at CDS working with Professor Yann LeCun. She is currently doing research on deep learning applications in music representation learning and sound synthesis. Primarily, her research is focused on self-supervised representation learning through the use of Joint Embedding Predictive Architectures (JEPA) . She holds a Ph.D. in Music Composition from the University of California, Riverside, a Master’s degree in Music Composition from the University of Art, Iran, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Shahid Beheshti University, Iran.
