Jason Phang

Bio: Jason was a PhD student at the NYU Center for Data Science, advised by Sam Bowman, Kyunghyun Cho, and Krzysztof Geras. His research interests included natural language processing and understanding, deep learning for medical imaging, and interpretability for deep learning models. Prior to NYU, Jason earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Chicago, majoring in Mathematics, Economics, and Statistics, and worked as a Quantitative Researcher at AQR Capital Management.
