Bio: Jiajian is a PhD student at the NYU Center for Data Science, advised by Professors Yiqiu Shen and Carlos Fernandez-Granda. His research interests focus on leveraging deep learning methods to improve healthcare, with a particular emphasis on addressing clinically significant problems. Prior to joining the PhD program, Jiajian earned his MD from Peking University and completed two years of neurology residency training at Peking University First Hospital. He also holds an M.Sc. in Data Science from CUHK-Shenzhen and a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine from Peking University.
