Bio: Lily is a PhD student at the NYU Center for Data Science and a DeepMind Fellow, advised by Professors Rajesh Ranganath and Kyle Cranmer. Her research interests are in topics at the intersection of deep learning and probabilistic modeling, including generalization, uncertainty calibration, and out of distribution detection. She is also interested in machine learning applications for health and science. Lily graduated from Harvard University with a B.A. in Statistics and minor in Computer Science and spent time at start ups Indico Data Solutions and Gamalon, working on deep learning and probabilistic machine learning-based solutions for text processing across industries.
