Bio: Victor is a PhD student at the NYU Center for Data Science, advised by Prof. Carlos Fernandez-Granda and Prof. Qi Lei. He is generally interested in machine learning for healthcare and domain adaptation. Before joining NYU, he received a BS in Electrical Engineering from Caltech, where he worked on optimization with Prof. Venkat Chandrasekaran and reinforcement learning for sustainability with Prof. Adam Wierman. Outside of research, he enjoys tennis, other racquet sports, and running.
