Bio: Ying is a PhD student at the NYU Center for Data Science advised by Prof. Andrew Wilson and Prof. Mengye Ren. She is interested in multimodal learning and aims to build systems that can emulate human-like perception by seamlessly integrating various modalities such as text, images and videos. She obtained a Master’s degree from NYU CDS as well. Before joining NYU, she received a B.S. in Stats and Computer Science with a minor in Finance from McGill University.
